It’s so exciting to share these photographs with you. Heidi and Steve are two of the kindest people we’ve ever had the privilege to work with and at possibly our favorite Vermont wedding venue, no less. Shelburne Farms is a magical place, for sure. Erin Boyd, Liz and the rest of the staff are so fun to work with every time. It’s a dream to have the opportunity to photograph a wedding there.
We were also so happy to have worked with Let’s Pretend Catering, Vermont Tent Company and Jayson Munn Designs who did an incredible job making the Coach Barn and surrounding areas look incredible.
As some of you might have noticed, we’ve been incorporating a lot of film photographs into our wedding and portrait work and the more and more I shoot film, the more and more I want to keep doing it. There’s no question that it’s not the most practical medium out there, nor the quickest or cost-effective but you can’t quite replicate the kind of soul film is able to bring to life.

Tears were shed, laughs were shared, pies were eaten, surprises (over a year in the making) were revealed; all as the rain poured on this chilly almost-spring day in Bedford, New Hampshire. The Bedford Village Inn is a quaint and moody spot on days like these. The light is scarce and it concentrates in small beams to make the space come alive with texture and contrast. These beams of lights that pour in through the small Victorian windows make you feel as if you’re truly living in the 20th century. They gently illuminate the antique botanical drawings, wallpaper and small collections of ephemera meticulously organized around the space.
Aimee & Ben, you’re two of the kindest, funniest and most talented photographers and self-proclaimed nerds we have had the pleasure to know and you sure know how to throw a Pi Day wedding. We’re truly thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of it all.
Cheers to you two.
